Takshashila is an effort by India Discovery Center to create a virtual Education Center to study India and investigate India’s history and culture.  Divided into five tiers in a convenient chronology, the center tries to offer a hundred self-contained educational modules which may connect to other modules for expansion and further research.  IDC has plans that the virtual Education Center to change to a physical building and structure in the next ten years.
